Henson Cove Place is located five miles east of Hiawassee, Georgia and just minutes from Helen, Clayton, Blairsville, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia's highest point - Brasstown Bald.
Our accommodations include three guest rooms and a 3 bedroom cabin. All of our guest rooms are beautifully decorated and have sitting areas and private baths. Our cabin in the woods sleeps two to eight people and provides comfort and all the amenities in a rustic atmosphere.
You'll enjoy the view of the valley and Kelly Ridge from the front porch swing or the rockers. Find a favorite book in the our library, watch the satellite dish TV/DVD/DVR, take a walk, or just kick off your shoes and relax. A full gourmet breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. Henson Cove Place is convenient to many great attractions such as the Appalachian and Bartram Trails for hiking. Water abounds all around Henson Cove, being minutes from Lake Chatuge, whitewater rafting and tubing trips on the Chattahoochee, Nantahala and Ocoee Rivers. Rappelling is also VERY popular in Highlands, NC, less than an hour from Henson Cove.
