While owner and innkeeper, Ineke Strongman, was raised in The Netherlands, it may be her lifetime of traveling the world that has contributed most in creating the high style and rich detail found at Katherine's Bed and Breakfast.

Her superb skill in decorating and talent for historical restoration has been combined to create the elegant and comfortable - Katherine's.

Each bedroom is a picture-perfect gem with its own private bath, bath robes, hair dryers, down comforter, fireplace and special teddy bear to welcome you.

You'll enjoy a sumptuous breakfast each morning in our Breakfast Room including a hot entree, fresh fruits and home baked goods.

The Asheville Area has many attractions, events and activities for you to take part in during your visit.

Sports and activities include: tennis, golf, hiking, white water rafting, horseback riding, and mountain biking. There's great shopping, antique shops, fine dining, and craft shows too.
