A Western Style Family Adventure

in beautiful Southeastern Ohio

Come experience the western lifestyle

on a family owned & operated cattle and guest ranch!

Nestled in the hills and valleys of Southeastern Ohio, is a place where you and your family can experience a true western lifestyle, unlike any other place in this part of the country. We have adapted our working cattle ranch in such a way, that you, as our guests, can get away from the big city and pitch in and feel like you're a part of the "crew" or just relax and enjoy a quiet getaway from the pressures and demands of everyday life.

At Smoke Rise Ranch Resort, we pride ourselves in being able to offer lodging, with a western flavor to suit nearly anyone's tastes. Whether it be camping in a tent or staying in a deluxe ranch style home, we will strive to ensure that your stay is an enjoyable one that you will remember long after your visit here!

Ranch activities include: trail riding, equine clinics, round up rides, pool and hot tub parties, hay rides, BBQ's, team ropings and team pennings, cutting, music events, dances and much, much, more! Throughout the year!

We are located just seven miles from Burr Oak State Park, on 2000 acres of privately owned land. There are ponds and small lakes where you can ride to and water your horse, or you can "drop a line" and fish the day away!
